CBD E-Liquid Questions
Diacetyl is an organic compound used to give butter-like flavours to food products, including popcorn. This chemical is used as a marker of exposure to flavouring vapours in investigations evaluating lung disease known as popcorn lung. None of the flavours used in Jersey Hemp CBD E-liquids contain diacetyl.
An e-cigarette is a battery powered atomiser used to create vapour for inhalation. Typically, e-cigarettes were created for smokers as a better alternative to smoking and were used in Hollywood to simulate smoking on stage.
Vegetable glycerine, VG or glycerol, is a clear, colourless and odourless liquid produced from plant oils, typically soy or coconut oil. Vegetable glycerine is commonly used in E-liquids to produce large quantities of vapor to simulate smoke.
Propylene glycol, or PG, is a synthetic organic compound with the chemical formula C3H8O2. PG is an additive commonly used by the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry and is “generally recognised as safe” for use in food by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). PG is a common ingredient in E-liquids and can be heated, vapourised and inhaled relatively safely.
E-liquids are often referred to as vape juices or e-juices. They are the same thing.
Terpenes are plant aromatic chemicals and are the base constituents which make up the aromas and essential oils of plants. We use terpenes extracted from non-GMO, organic certified, non-cannabis plant material. The individual terpenes are mixed to recreate popular flavours which are infused into our CBD E-liquids.
You can take you CBD E-liquid to the UK and within the European Union. We would advise checking on the legal status of CBD and CBD E-liquids in countries outside of the European Union. Jersey Hemp does not currently ship outside the European Union as regulations change on a country-by-country basis.

CBD E-liquid is vaporised and inhaled using an atomiser. As a result, CBD vapours pass directly into the lungs and allow for a more efficient and faster uptake of CBD into the body. Vapes are also convenient and often more affordable than oils.
E-liquids, including Jersey Hemp CBD E-liquids, are designed as safe alternatives for those who smoke cigarettes and are trying to quit. E-liquids are not 100% safe, especially those that contain nicotine and certain flavours, but they are significantly better in comparison to smoking. CBD is not recognised as being addictive and our CBD E-liquids contain no nicotine or THC and are therefore considered non-addictive. It is not recommended to try CBD E-liquids if you are not an existing smoker or vaper.
All the ingredients are food grade and non-toxic. However, our Jersey Hemp CBD E-liquids are not meant for ingestion or eating.
CBD E-liquid, or vape juice, is for use in battery powered electronic cigarettes or atomizers and is not meant to be ingested as a food or applied topically. CBD Oil or Full Spectrum CBD Oil is for oral consumption and may be ingested as a food supplement or applied topically to your skin.
CBD is not psychoactive, and our Jersey Hemp CBD E-liquids contain no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and will therefore have no psychoactive effect.
A CBD E-liquid is a convenient way of consuming CBD. The CBD is vaped directly into the lungs allowing for the fast and efficient delivery of CBD into the body. The beneficial effects of CBD are almost immediate when vaped in comparison to using a tincture which may take 20 minutes to 1 hour to act.
CBD E-liquids are similar to traditional e-liquids but with cannabidiol (CBD) instead of nicotine. CBD E-liquids, also known as vape juices, are designed to be used in electronic cigarettes or atomisers. E-liquids are usually composed of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), flavourings (terpenes) and the active ingredient, in this case CBD not nicotine.
